Nov. 1994 - present day I have been painting in oils full time (see paintings in oil) and promoting my own work as well as our jointly owned company, Studio Montana.   Senior Graphic Designer/ Production Coordinator June1991 - November 1994 MacDonald Dettwiler 13800 Commerce Parkway Richmond, B.C., Canada see corporate design     MacDonald Dettwiler is a systems engineering company focused on large scale systems and software development within the earth observation, resource management, space, defense, aviation and communication markets. The company employs over 1,800 worldwide. As a graphic designer/production coordinator I was responsible for concepts, art direction, design, presentation and production of a wide variety of marketing and printed material. These included annual reports, posters, advertising, proposal covers, logos, displays and Christmas cards. The art department was responsible for all promotional material issued from the company. The work was produced on Macintosh software using Quark Express, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Pagemaker, Design Studio. I dealt directly with all authors, sales people, corporate officers, as well as all suppliers from printers to photographers throughout all phases of production from initial design and client approval, to overseeing, coordinating and directing photo shoots, to contract requirements to final press approvals. Company and an Agency of the BBDO Worldwide Network in New York, (also a member of Affiliated Advertising Agencies International Inc. (AAAI)) I designed and produced ads, brochures, displays and various promotional material as required, from initial concept and client presentation through to finished art.       Senior Designer/ Production Supervisor Feb. 1987 - 1988 Windrim, Kleyn and Lim Victoria, B.C., Canada   As a senior designer I assisted the creative director in design and development, specializing in rendering, design, and illustration. I oversaw all production management and dealt directly with clients, printers,government agencies and photographers as required.       Artist/Designer June 1984 - Feb. 1985 B.C.T.V. CHEK Television 780 Kings Rd. Victoria, B.C., Canada see references   As a graphic designer/ artist at CHEK I assisted the commercial production unit in all aspects of graphics as related to television. Storyboards were developed as a visual tool for the producers and clients as well as the production crew. Graphics were developed for commercials, movie bumpers and promotional material for local and syndicated programs, I developed and produced ads for T.V. Week and T.V. Guide. Ads were also designed for promotion of the station, local programming and the news department.
