I does need to clear up one small misunderstandin'. Seems Watchman
has been laboring under the misimpression that I done lost the quill he
gived me. The problem bein' that he never gived me a quill like he figured.
That bein' what drove me to the desperate act of turkey stripping. Doggone
if my fingernail hadn't gotten black and sore.
But I can overlook Watchman's slip'ry memory; must be that grease-n-formula
soakin' into his scalp and 'fecting his brain. I just knowd there had to
be side-effects.
I've added a new section to my FCF website. Since the newsletter only
comes out every three months, occasions arise when things happen between
issues that I figure members might be interested in. So I added a section
called "Late News." Check it out periodically at http://ixi.net/~4waystop/fcf/news/.
Prayer list: First a praise report. A/G News Online reports Rev. David Boyd, National Director of Children's Ministries, has experienced a miracle. After having his left elbow completely shattered in a 15 foot fall, Bro. Boyd's elbow bones were miraculously regenerated! [read the letters from Mary Boyd at the web site above] Pray for Pastor Amy Fulton and the Hays church for better facilities. Also pray that the interest shown in starting a ranger program there will be infectious. Cdr. Chris Green Hornet Meier needs prayer for an unspoken need. Start praying that Ranger Mountain Adventure will see even more boys
and men won to Christ than ever. Pray also that they will be effectively
discipled when they return to their home churches.
Finally, I want to thank all you that made it to Hays to bless the folks there. May His blessings return to you 100-fold. I especially want to thank Eagle Heart for work above and beyond the call of duty. Truly we could not have accomplished what we did without him. —Lodestone
