With the Ranger program starting up in September, this is a time to
put together all the plans that have been running around in your head for
the last three months. Looking for Commanders to help with the meetings,
rounding up material that the boys will be interested in, in general getting
your act together.
Then there are those STUMBLING BLOCKS. The ones that Satan puts in
our way, he is going to do everything he can to stop the program from starting
up. If he can get you discouraged because things are not coming together
the way you would like, he has won. If he puts STUMBLING BLOCKS in your
prayer life that you cannot overcome when you are preparing for the start
of Rangers, he has won. He has many tricks he can use, and is always coming
up with new ones.
What is the best way to overcome STUMBLING BLOCKS? JESUS CHRIST, but
you already know that. The more of Jesus you have in your heart, the less
room there is for Satan to put in STUMBLING BLOCKS. Just remember if this
program was not effective he wouldn't try so hard to stop it.
